Standing over 12 inches tall, The Garden of Light is an original intuitive mixed-media sculpture created from foam clay and wood.
At the center, organic green-blue branches rise upward, intertwined with delicate golden spirals and abstract flower-like forms. Around the base rests a circle of hand-shaped stones, creating a sacred gathering place for the tree. Beneath it all, a wooden base carries a pattern of black and golden-green connected diamonds, forming a continuous circle around the sculpture.
The colors of green, blue, gold, and white come together to create a feeling of nature, tranquility, transformation, and light.
To me, this piece represents the idea that growth begins when we create space for our inner light to emerge. The tree reaches upward while remaining grounded among the stones—a reminder that we can expand, awaken, and grow while still staying connected to where we began.
